Kotel Building, a premier construction firm in Togo, had a vision to expand internationally. However, their digital presence was holding them back:

  • Limited Reach: A static, monolingual site that couldn't cater to international investors.
  • Zero Conversion: No automated way to capture leads; just a basic contact form.
  • High Costs: Locked into a restrictive WordPress.com plan with no professional email infrastructure.

  • Interactive Chatbot: Built with Typebot, the bot engages visitors in English or French based on their preference.
  • The "Invisible" Workflow (n8n):
    • Trigger: User completes the chat.
    • Action 1: A webhook sends data to n8n.
    • Action 2: The lead receives an instant, personalized confirmation email.
    • Action 3: The sales team gets a structured notification with all project details.
    • Result: Zero manual data entry, instant response time.

2. Infrastructure & Reliability (DevOps)

Trust is currency in the construction business. The site needed to be fast and always up.

  • Migration: Moved from SaaS to a self-hosted O2Switch environment, cutting costs by 50% while gaining full control.
  • Privacy Analytics: Implemented Plausible Analytics for GDPR-compliant visitor tracking without cookie banners.
  • Transparency: Deployed Uptime Kuma to monitor site availability, with a public status page on a subdomain to build trust with stakeholders.

3. The Visual Rebrand

  • Design: Shifted from a dark, heavy aesthetic to a clean, "Architectural White" theme that highlights 3D renders.
  • Multilingual Core: Native bilingual structure (FR/EN) to support their international expansion strategy.
